The Clippers, well, actually, the Buffalo Braves, the original incarnation of the clippers, actually once won an NBA playoff series. Once. Pulled from this Buffalo Braves Website:

1975/76: With Bob McAdoo leading the league in scoring for the 3rd year with 31.1 ppg in a row the Braves make the playoffs again with a record of 46-36. In the playoffs the Braves would go to toe to with Philadelphia 76ers splitting the first 2 games of a 3-game series. On the road for Game 3 the Braves would emerge victorious in overtime with a hard fought 124-123 victory. In the 2nd round the Braves and Boston Celtics would once again battle through 4 games even a 2 games apiece. However, once again the Celtics would take the series in 6 games. Following the season the Braves would allow coach Jack Ramsay to depart for a similar job with Portland Trailblazers.

See? See? They didn’t always completely & totally suck. Ok, I mean, yeah, ever since the move to Cali and the new name clippers, yes, they have never won a playoff series. But, you see, they once won, which means they can do it again.

Um, ok, carry on. Aloha.

troops that thought they were homeward bound are stuck in iraq for another 3 months.

some kid in my own neighborhood went psycho and stabbed his mom & aunt and then set the house on fire. cried all through opening deliberations of his trial. his aunt's dead. she can't cry anymore. the mom will prolly pass on in the next few days.

jesus christ this is some happy inspiring shit i've got for you today ain't it?

why why why why WHY am i writing this and why am i gonna post it.

bleh, whatever.

the last thing i wanna be is like a sad news headline bouncer, seeping the drains for pithy remarks on the state of man woman society. yet here i am throwing my piece of shit hat in the ring.

well the clippers play their last game of the season tonite home at staples center against the almost equally pitiful seattle supersonics. seattle is 3-0 against the clips this season, and who really gives a rat's ass anyway?

clips actually won last nite which was kind of a disappointment considering that the losting streak was really the only interesting facet of the team at this point in another in a long long line of disagreeable to the palate of any self-respecting fan's palate.

go clippers.

clips put their 13 game losing streak on the line tonite in phoenix versus the fellow western cellar dweller suns.

Phoenix is actually playing pretty well right now, having beat sacramento & Memphis (m68’s team could be going up against the lakers in the first round – and, loathe as I am to make my annual shift to lakerdom for the playoffs, I gotta say, go lakes, but I’ll be watching, and part of me secretly hopes the lakers lose, just cuz they’re too much the overdog and that is something for which I have never been able to wholeheartedly root, only if your name is ever clipper and/or cal bears. Or raiders. Um, ok, that’s the end of the exceptions list.)

Bah, fuck, who am I, fukn mike fratello? Whut the fuck chuck. Why am I even typing this?

just erased shit. carlton would be extremely upset. but fuck carlton. f uck him to the gate, just as with as much enthusiasm and disregard and violence as if the party were e-40. ok, not like that, like that. like, um beating someon'es ass but not in a nice sense.

blah. blah blah. blakcsheep

how much for your wool?
